I am a SNSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of History, University of Oxford and a member of the HERA-UPIER project. My research focuses on the international expansion of Latin American banks during the 1970s and its implications for the creation of the debt crisis of 1982 and the subsequent debt renegotiation process. My work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Latin American Studies, Financial History Review and Revista de Historica Economica - Journal of Iberian and Latin American Economic History, and I am currently working on my first book "Mexican Banks and International Finance: From Internationalization to Financial Crisis, 1973-82" (Palgrave McMillan). I hold a Phd. in Economic and Social History from the University of Geneva, a Master in Economics from the University of Paris 1 - Pantheon Sorbonne, and a Bachelor in Economics from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina.
