SEMINAR: Professor Jonathan Coopersmith (Texas A&M University), 'Creative Construction: The Importance of Froth and Fraud in Emerging Technologies'

Professor Jonathan Coopersmith is a historian of technology at Texas A&M University, and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for the History of Science, Technology & Medicine, Kings College (Fall, 2018). He will join us at Brasenose College for a lunch seminar to discuss his research on the role of fraudulent and frothy firms (firms that intended to succeed commercially but soon failed) in the creative construction of successful emerging technologies.
