An international conference on Latin American business history was held at Brasenose College on 27-28 April, in association with the Global History of Capitalism project.
The programme included a keynote speech from Antonio Celia, CEO of Promigas (Columbia) and presentations from Rory Miller (Liverpool), Matias Braun (Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez), Brian McBeth (Oxford), Marcelo Bucheli (Illinois), Martin Monsalve (Pacifico University), Erica Salvaj (Universidad del Desarrollo), Sebastian Alvarez (Geneve), and Aldo Musacchio (Brandeis).

The conference was convened by Christopher McKenna (co-director of the Oxford History of Global Capitalism Project), Eduardo Posada-Carbó (convener of the Latin American History Seminar), and Matias Braun (Adolfo Ibáñez University, Chile).
